Head of People and Culture

General responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective performance management systems, including KPIs and performance evaluation instruments, to achieve highest level of performance in business and people leadership.
  • Assist Executing Committee in defining key roles and responsibilities inside the organization,
    allowing for greater efficiencies, agility and standardization.
  • Create and implement a people development and succession planning program that provides necessary talent to meet evolving business needs.
  • Define and implement training and development programs for relevant positions to meet evolving business needs.
  • Serve as strategic partner to the Executive Committee in executing key growth strategies in the organization.
  • Define and implement people strategies, practices and policies to support employee wellbeing and enable team culture and engagement consistent with organizational values
  • Lead the implementation of the organization’s diversity and inclusion strategy as defined by the Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
  • Create and maintain an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity and competitive advantage.
Skills and qualifications:
  • Experience building and scaling an HR function (or key aspects thereof) inside another organization.
  • Experience in an asset management or similar professional firm an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Excellent facilitator and communicator: able to engage at all levels within the organization, with strong client managemenst skills.
  • Communication skills: openness and transparency that promote a positive work environment and trust across team
  • Ability to think strategically and bring changes to organization.
  • Self-starter: ability to function independently, while identifying and solving business opportunities.
  • Organized, with an eye to improving efficiencies and simple, scalable processes.
  • Team player and inclusive.
